Silloth-on-Solway Beach Races

The 3rd Silloth-on-Solway Beach Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 23rd August 2015, starting 11:00 am at Station Road, leading round the dock area and onto the sands of West Beach. A runner service station located adjacent to Beckfoot will be available on both the outward and inward section of the course, with runners turning close to Dubmill Point, where another runner service station will be located.

If, however, you who want to experience this stunning course but do not feel up to running the whole 13.1 miles, why not enter the 10K instead!  The 2nd Silloth-on-Solway Beach 10K takes place onSunday 23rd August 2015, starting at 11:30am at Station Road, leading round the dock area and onto the sands of West Beach. A runner service station will be located at the turning point adjacent to Beckfoot.  Runners must be 17 years or older on race day. The 10K takes in part of the Half Marathon route.

The Inaugural Silloth-on-Solway Beach 5K takes place on Sunday 23rd August 2015, starting at 11:45am at Station Road, leading round the dock area and onto the sands of West Beach. Runners must be aged 11 years or over on the day. The 5K takes in part of the 10K and Half Marathon route.

All finishers in the Half Marathon and 10k will receive a T-shirt, medal and a goody bag which includes a token for a bag of chips! 5k finishers will receive a goody bag (they can purchase t-shirts and medals separately if required).

Please take care, and for your own safety follow the advice of the race officials and marshals.

Race numbers & Winning Time timing chips will be issued from 09:00 on race day at registration.

Late entries will be taken on the day between 09:00 and 10:45 in the marquee on the green.

Events will be held on the Green for those not participating in the 3 beach runs.
