Why use Q-buster

  • It is easy for event organisers to create a customised entry form, or multiple different entry forms for any event or club membership.

  • Event organisers can contact Q-buster for help setting up their entry forms or create them entirely themselves.

  • Event organisers can download full information on the entries made for their events.

  • Event organisers can manually add additional entries.
  • There is no direct charge to event organisers for using Q-buster, but there is a service charge added to each entry fee which is paid by the participant.  The event organiser decides if they want the service charge to be added to the entry fee or if they want the service charge to be included in the entry fee.
  • The service charge paid by the participant if the event organiser chooses for the service charge to be added to the entry fee is £0.90 or 5% of their payment (whichever is greatest).  However as part of Q-Busters commitment to quality sports development, if the event organiser (e.g. your running club, triathlon club etc) is affiliated to a recognised Governing Body of Sport such as Scottish Athletics or Scottish Triathlon then the fee to the participants is reduced, so each participant is only charged £0.60 or 5% of their payment (whichever is greatest) for each entry.  For example if the entry fee was £15 the entrant would pay £15.75, and £0.75 would be kept by Q-buster as the service charge.

  • If the event organiser chooses for the service charge to be included in the entry fee the service charge is £0.60 or 5% of the total payment (or £0.90 for a non sporting event).  For example if the entry fee was £15.75 including the service charge, £0.79 of that £15.75 would be kept by Q-buster as the service charge.
  • Entrants receive a confirmation email when they enter an event.

  • Entry fees collected through Q-buster are paid to the event organiser promptly following the event.
