North Lanarkshire Half Marathon & 10K 2027

RUN NL is delighted to once again host the North Lanarkshire Half Marathon, sponsored by Albert Bartlett, in 2027.

Whether you're chasing a personal best, taking on a new challenge, or simply looking for a fantastic family day out, there will be something for everyone!

North Lanarkshire Half Marathon

Open to participants aged 17 years and over, the Half Marathon will take runners on an exciting route through Motherwell and the surrounding area, with both the start and finish based at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility.

The race will be officially chip timed, with every finisher receiving a unique finisher's medal.

Your entry will also include:

  • Unique finisher's medal
  • Fruit
  • Water
  • Official chip timing

10K

Not ready for a Half Marathon? Take on our 10K event, open to participants aged 15 years and over.

The 10K will also be officially chip timed, with a route specifically designed to start and finish at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility.

Children's Races

Our younger runners can get involved too, with a range of children's events taking place throughout the day:

  • 1K Race: Ages 7+
  • 400m Race: Ages 6+
  • Toddler Dash: Preschool children aged 3 to 5 years

Every child who completes their race will receive a unique finisher's medal, making the day just as special for our youngest participants.

More Than Just Running!

The fun doesn't stop at the finish line. We're planning a fantastic programme of family activities and entertainment throughout the day, including:

  • Bouncy castles
  • Trampolines
  • Face painting
  • A variety of Come & Try Sports Development activities
  • Free massage therapy sessions for participants to support their warm-up and recovery
  • Music and entertainment
  • Food and refreshment stalls
  • Merchandise stalls and vendors

With running events for all ages alongside sport, activities, entertainment and refreshments, the North Lanarkshire Half Marathon & 10K 2027 promises to be a fantastic family occasion.
