NLC Gymnastics Grading 2026

We are excited to announce that our annual grading event will take place on Sunday 31st May at Wishaw Sports Centre.

This year, we’ll be following the same trusted syllabus structure; however, we’ve refreshed the level names and updated several skills to introduce a modernised, improved version for 2026 and moving forward.

During the grading, gymnasts will be asked to perform the required skills for their level that they have been working on in class. Successfully completing these skills will result in the gymnast being awarded a certificate and medal! To ensure every child feels confident, coaches will place gymnasts in the level most appropriate for them so they can receive their medal on the day. If your child has taken part in a grading before, please let their coach know.

In the weeks leading up to the event, we will be preparing all gymnasts during their regular classes. On the day itself, the grading will be built into a rotating class-style structure, allowing gymnasts to move around skill stations to complete their assessments.

A detailed schedule with individual times will be sent out closer to the date. Your time slot will depending on what level your child will be entered at. The day will begin with Pre‑School gymnasts and progress through the levels. Gymnasts will only need to attend during their allocated timeslot. Please note the Q-buster mentions a 9am start however this may not be when you will be required to come along and we will send out individual times nearer the time.
