NLC Christmas Dance Show

We are excited to announce that this year we have booked a Christmas Showcase for our Dance and Stage Academy students.  This will be a great way to finish off the year, where the students take to the stage to display a fusion of dance and musical theatre.

All of our Dance and Musical Theatre classes (including pre-school) will begin to work towards the Christmas showcase in the next few weeks, so we would love for everyone to be involved. At the presentation, each group will get to perform 2 dances/acts then will be presented with their medal during the finale. Important Details

Venue: Wishaw Sports Centre, 131 Alexander Street, North Lanarkshire ML2 0HQ

Date: 15/12/2024

Time: Show running time will be 2.30pm – approx. 4.30pm (Arrival times for children will be sent out once we have gathered all sign ups – the earliest this will be is 12.30pm).

Entries close on 3rd November 2024. We cannot take entries after this date as enough time must be left for coaches to position and finalise routines, as well as leave enough time for us to organise the day schedule and awards.

What do the children wear?

At the showcase, all children will be required to wear our Dance and Stage Academy T-shirt (or alternatively a plain black t-shirt) paired with black leggings/joggers.  On their feet can they please wear jazz shoes, black plimsoles (that they would wear to PE) or plain trainers.
