Fright Night Fun Run

Join us for a Halloween-themed night fun run around the University of Stirling campus loch, approximately 2.4km.  Either walk or run your way along the route but watch out for those scary surprises!! Bring along your best Halloween costume and grab those torches to take part in the first campus night fun run. Make sure you get in quick as spaces are limited. Don’t have the FOMO this Halloween!

Trick or Treat Goodie Bags for all participants.

Event information

All entrants must report to the Gannochy Sports Centre between 5:30pm and 6.30pm on the day of the race to collect their number.

All runners are asked to congregate at the start line by 6:45pm in order for the race to start promptly at 7pm.

Any medical information should be disclosed prior to the event - this can be completed on the registration form.

Please ensure you are wearing suitable footwear for the race, fashion trainers are not advisable.

All entrants MUST have a torch/head-torch to participate in the fun run.  If you arrive without a torch, unfortunately you will not be allowed to participate.

Participants must not interfere with any of the decorations along the route.

All entrants under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult. 


There is parking available on campus. 

Changing facilities

There are changing facilities and showers located in the Gannochy Sports Centre. Due to the high volume of runners expected it is advisable to come prepared in your Halloween costume prior to the race commencing. 


Light refreshments are available to purchase from the Gannochy Sports Centre cafe. Please note the cafe will close at 9:30pm

Prize Giving

Prizes will be awarded to the 1st place runner in each catagory. This will take place immediately after the event. 

Prizes for:

  • Best costume
  • 1st Male/1st Female
  • 1st team with three members across the line
