DAWN and DUSK trail series

We are delighted to announce our 1st trail series event of 2024

We are back on the trails of Coatbridge and Airdrie taking in some of the wonderful scenery around the North Calder Heritage Trail, Monklands Canal and NCR 75.
The 10k route will also pass through the nature reserve within Airdrie community park. With a mixture of hard packed trail, mud and tarmac the route has something for everyone.

DUSK - Friday 11th October 2024 - 19.00 start
DAWN - Saturday 12th October 2024 - 9:30 start

Top prize of £100 - Male and Female

Car Parking/Changing Facilities/toilets are available at  
Riverbank Community Hub, 1 Paddock Street, Carnbroe, Coatbridge.

The Course

The start / finish is located at Riverbank Community Hub.

From the start the runners will proceed along the North Calder Heritage Trail adjecent to the Monklands Canal passing the Faskine and along to the Calderbank Tunnels.

The event will continue along the trail to the nearby Airdrie Community Park before joining the NCR 75.

From the the route decends down and joins back up with the North Calder Heritage Trail along to the finish line.

*Please note this route has a section of steps and is unsuitable for wheelchair access.

** There will be a 2 hour 15mins limit on the course
